Job description
A seafood processing company in Magallanes is looking to hire an Accounting and Finance Manager to lead the company's accounting, financial, and tax management. Main responsibilities: oversee the full accounting process and financial statements; tax compliance (Chilean forms F29, F22, VAT, income tax, SII filings); financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management; relationship with banks and external auditors; control of accounts receivable/payable and reconciliations; management reporting and KPIs; and leadership of the accounting team. Requirements: degree in Accounting/Auditing, Business Engineering, or Management Control Engineering; at least 5 years of experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial role; knowledge of Chilean tax regulations, accounting ERP systems (Defontana/Softland), and advanced Excel. Experience in manufacturing or fishing/aquaculture companies is a plus.
